Hawkins scored 15 points, Malina Howard had 11, and Alicia DeVaughn added 10 points and eight rebounds for Maryland (22-4, 13-2 Atlantic Coast Conference). Thomas notched her 16th double double of the season, which leads the ACC.
With four rebounds, Hawkins became the third woman — and the fourth player, male or female — in school history to grab 1,000 rebounds. Only Crystal Langhorne, Marissa Coleman and Len Elmore previously had reached that mark.
Kristen Doherty scored 18 points for Boston College (10-16, 4-11). Kerri Shields scored seven points to become the 22nd player in BC history to reach 1,000.

Marymount 61, Salisbury 46: The visiting Sea Gulls (15-12) took an early lead and held on until halftime before falling behind in the second half to the top-seeded Saints (22-4) in a Capital Athletic Conference semifinal.
Katie McGahagan finished with a game-high 18 points for Salisbury, which scored the first four points of the game.
Leading 4-1, Salisbury went on a 13-2 run over a four-minute span.
