Krusen sets Loyola women's record with seven 3s in 54-34 win

Nicole Krusen broke the all-time program record with seven 3-pointers as the Loyola women's basketball team beat Manhattan College, 54-34, on Friday night at Reitz Arena.

Krusen led all scorers with 21 points for the Greyhounds (10-14, 5-8 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference), shooting 7-for-11 from behind the arc. Her seven 3-pointers replaces Meredith Tolley's six 3-pointers at Navy in 2009 atop the program's record board.

Teammate Katie Sheahin pulled down 11 rebounds and scored six points.

The Jaspers (6-18, 3-10) were led by Monica Roeder with 14 points and eight rebounds. Allison Skrec had five assists for Manhattan as well as six points.

The Greyhounds head on the road to Lawrenceville, N.J., for a conference game againstRider on Sunday at 1 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3.
