Josh Herbeck scored eight of his 19 points in overtime as Army defeated Navy, 69-63, in double overtime Saturday.
Army made up a four-point deficit in the first overtime and scored the first seven points of the second to build a 63-56 lead with 33 seconds remaining.
Navy cut the deficit to 64-61 on a 3-pointer by Thurgood Wynn with 18 seconds left, but Army sealed it by making six of seven free throws the rest of the way.
Navy, which has lost 17 in a row, the third-longest streak in the nation, overcame a 10-point deficit in the second half to force overtime. Jordan Sugars scored 14 while Worth Smith had 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Midshipmen (3-20, 0-10).
Ella Ellis scored 17 points and Maxwell Lenox had 13 for the Black Knights (11-14, 4-6 Patriot League), who ended a four-game losing streak. Ellis has scored in double figures in 27 straight games.
Delaware State 84, Coppin State 81: Marques Oliver scored a layup with 1.3 seconds left to lift the visiting Hornets (10-11, 7-3 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) over the Eagles (12-12, 7-4.)
Coppin's Akeem Ellis tied the game at 81 with a pair of free throws with 11.2 left.
Delaware State worked the ball for the final shot. Jay Threatt passed to Oliver, who scored and was fouled. Oliver made the ensuing free throw for the final score.
Tony Gallo scored 23 points and Antonio Williams had 20 points and 14 rebounds for the Eagles.
James Madison 58, Towson 56: Devon Moore scored six points in the final 1:29 as the Dukes (11-16, 4-11 Colonial Athletic Association) overcame a comeback bid by the host Tigers (1-26, 1-14).
The Dukes, who broke a five-game losing streak, were able to win despite being outrebounded 49-19.
With 1:29 remaining, Moore gave the Dukes a 54-53 lead when he scored on a running 10-footer along the left baseline. After Towson's Kris Walden missed a 17-foot jumper, the Dukes got a rare team rebound. With 26 seconds left, Moore was fouled on a drive to the basket. He made both free throws to give the Dukes a 56-53 advantage. After Walden made two free throws with 11 seconds remaining to cut the deficit to 56-55, Moore was fouled in the backcourt with eight seconds remaining.
UMES 68, Morgan State 56: The visiting Hawks (6-17, 3-7 MEAC) took control early and led for most of the game to beat the Bears (5-17, 3-8).
Percy Woods had a game-high 21 points to power UMES, which led 32-27 at the break. Justin Black had 12 points for the Bears.
Morgan State coach Todd Bozeman was ejected with 2:07 left.
Wagner 74, Mount St. Mary's 57: Raven Barber paced the Mount (6-19, 4-10 Northeast Conference) with 16 points in a losing effort.
Jonathon Williams fueled the Seahawks (21-4, 12-4) with 19 points. Latif Rivers added 15 points while Tyler Murray and Chris Martin each chipped in 11.
Bowie State 69, Lincoln 63: Dameatric Scott scored 18 points and the host Bulldogs (19-4, 11-3 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association) used a 10-4 run to pull away.
The Lions (11-14, 6-8) cut the lead to 54-53 with 6:55 left, before the Bowie run.
Navy 57, Army 50: Erin Edwards scored four second-half 3-point field goals to help the visiting Midshipmen (14-10, 7-3 Patriot League) rally from a six-point deficit to the Black Knights (12-13, 6-4) in the annual Star/Army-Navy Trophy Game.
Coppin State 76, Delaware State 58: Crystal Whittington had 15 points and led four players in double figures for the Eagles (14-10, 9-2 MEAC). Coppin State used an 18-2 run early in the first half as Whittington scored eight points during the run.
Tierra Hawkins (4-19, 1-9) led the Hornets with 17 points.
UMES 75, Morgan State 57: The visiting Hawks (9-13, 6-4 MEAC) posted a season-high in points to collect a victory over the Bears (6-18, 3-8).
Adobi Agbasi finished with a career-high 17 rebounds and 16 points for UMES.
Mount St. Mary's 71, Wagner 48: The Mountaineers (10-14, 6-7 Northeast Conference) never trailed after taking the lead 1:26 into the game on a jump shot by Rachel Mathews. The host Seahawks (2-22, 1-12) fell behind by as many as 20 points in the first half.
Bowie State 76, Lincoln 47: The Bulldogs (7-14, 7-7 CIAA) opened the game with an 18-4 run against the host Lions (7-19, 3-11). Brooke Miles paced Bowie State with 22 points.
