No. 1 overall pick Schuss agrees to deal with NLL's Swarm

The Minnesota Swarm of the National Lacrosse League announced that it has agreed to terms with No. 1 overall pick Logan Schuss on a two-year contract. Schuss, a left-handed forward, started and played in every game during his four-year career at Ohio State and finished as the school's all-time leader in points (237) and goals (146). Last season, Schuss scored a career-high 44 goals and added 28 assists while leading the Buckeyes to the NCAA quarterfinals.

Women's college lacrosse: Florida announced that defender Aniya Flanagan (Perry Hall) will join the team for the 2015 season. An All-Division and All-County selection, she is also a member of the Gators soccer team, which she has helped to county, regional and state championships. She has played for Looney's Lacrosse club for four years. ... Hofstra said Grayson Corbett (Wilde Lake), a 5-foot-4 midfielder, will join the team for 2015. Last season she compiled 86 goals, 83 draw controls and 34 ground balls. She has been an All-County first-team selection.
