He certainly doesn't want to jeopardize his medical career.
"As a research technician at Parexel, I do a lot of phlebotomy, IV insertions, ECGs, vital signs, and basically test pharmaceutical medications for a lot of big pharmaceutical companies before they go" to the Food and Drug Administration, Williams said. "I like the statistical analyses that people put together for pharmaceutical research."
He received a bachelor's degree in life sciences from Penn State and is working on a master's in biotechnology online.
"I'm still debating on whether I want to go to medical school or not. I've been in school for years now," Williams said. "But for now all I want is a chance at that belt, something every boxer dreams of."
