Ravens' Joe Flacco named one of NFL's most overrated quarterbacks in player survey

Stats don’t favor Joe Flacco this year. Neither do NFL players, apparently.

According to an ESPN survey of 155 NFL players this season, the Ravens quarterback was voted the third-most overrated quarterback in the league, behind only the New York GiantsEli Manning and Indianapolis ColtsAndrew Luck.

"I think he's kind of living off that Super Bowl," one player said of him.

Among qualified quarterbacks, Flacco is last in the NFL in passing yards per game (167.2) and 28th in ESPN's Total QBR. In six games, he is 116 of 185 (62.7 percent) for 1,003 yards, four touchdowns and eight interceptions. He’s also 32-32 since 2013, the season after the Ravens’ win in Super Bowl XLVII.

If it’s any consolation to Flacco, he didn't make the top-three cut for "Which QB do you most want to sack?" and "Who is the one QB you would not want as a teammate?" As it turns out, players don’t like Tom Brady and Jay Cutler, either.
