Which current Orioles player would you hate to see in a Yankees or Red Sox uniform?

In an interview Wednesday with ESPN, Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz, who helped the Red Sox win two championships, said that joining the archrival New York Yankees is -- gasp! -- “something I gotta think about.”

"There's too much drama, man," Ortiz said about playing for the Red Sox. "There's too much drama. I have been thinking about a lot of things. I don't know if I want to be part of this drama for next year."

But playing for the New York Yankees? That would be cold, Big Papi.

Also, is Ortiz aware that playing in New York isn’t exactly drama-free?

Of course, ESPN caught him at an emotional time, the day that a Boston Globe report torpedoed the Boston clubhouse, bringing attention to some players’ in-game habits and digging up dirt on ex-manager Terry Francona. And just because Ortiz said he would think about thinking about playing for the Yankees doesn’t mean he has purchased a train ticket to NYC and called up Johnny Damon for the number of his old real estate agent.

So how does this relate to the Orioles? Well besides a guy who has hit 33 career homers and knocked in 123 runs against Baltimore considering a move out of Boston and possibly out of the division?

It got me thinking about current Orioles one day jumping ship and signing in Boston or New York. Thinking about Adam Jones patrolling the outfield every night with the Green Monster as a backdrop or Matt Wieters wearing pinstripes is just icky. Or what about Nick Markakis or Zach Britton playing elsewhere in the AL East someday?

I’m not speculating that any of that will happen; I’m just wondering which would be the hardest for you to swallow. Personally, I think Wieters should be an Oriole for life if he wants to be, but I want your take on this.

Your turn: Which Orioles player would make you the sickest by ever joining the Red Sox or the Yankees?
