Ravens linebacker Sergio Kindle, who missed the 2010 season after fracturing his skull a few days before training camp, is looking to get cleared for contact sometime in the next couple of weeks. Apparently, he is champing at the bit to get back on the field.
“I tend to put a helmet on and bang my head against the wall -- not ridiculous crazy hard -- to see how it works. I’ve felt fine,” Kindle told our Jamison Hensley.
Kindle's status will surely affect the team's draft plans. If he is cleared and the Ravens feel he can contribute in 2011, they might put off drafting another pass rusher until the later rounds of the draft. If not, they could select a wingman for Terrell Suggs as early as the first round.
You tell me: What are your expectations for Kindle in 2011 and going forward?Copyright © 2014, The Baltimore Sun
