According to WKYC in Cleveland, LFL officials have announced that in the league's third season, games could be shifted from Friday nights to Sunday afternoons if a lockout suspends or delays the start of the 2011 NFL season.
So Baltimore athletic supporters can still put on purple jerseys and camo pants on Sunday mornings, but instead of heading to M&T Bank Stadium to watch the Ravens, they can catch the Baltimore Charm at 1st Mariner Arena. It will kind of feel the same, right?
"The LFL has truly gained a lot of credibility both on and off-the-field over the past couple of seasons," Cleveland Crush Executive Vice President of Football Operations Bob Golic told WKYC.
There's no way he said that with a straight face.
Still, LFL football is better than no football, I guess. Well, assuming you can tolerate women running around in these revealing uniforms, which I doubt will be an issue for some of my readers.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
