A third of the way through the season, several players and the team as a whole are chasing single-season milestones. s he closes in on his 21st birthday, Orioles third baseman Machado continues to widen his league lead in doubles. He has 25 doubles in 54 games this season, which has put him on pace to hit 75 this season. Not only would that shatter the club record of 56 set by second baseman Brian Roberts in 2009, it would also set the all-time major league record of 67, which was set by Earl Webb way back in 1931.
