Adam Jones’ Lutherville home was featured today in an online video that gives a glimpse of how the Orioles outfielder spends his time away from the ballpark.
The video, which is part of Coldwell Banker’s MLB.com Home Field Advantage series, takes fans inside stars’ residences to see what home means for them.
Jones, the Orioles' star center fielder, makes it clear that the home he bought last year from former Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron has all he needs.
“I want my peace and quiet,” Jones said in the video. “My house is simple. It’s not overwhelming. Just give me a nice couch, a nice kitchen, and a big TV. I think that’ll serve me well.”
It’s not the first home Jones bought, he said in the video. That honor went to the home he purchased for his mother in San Diego. Jones said that’s where he’ll return to when his playing career is over, but with a long-term deal in Baltimore, he needed a place to go home to each night from Camden Yards.
“To have a place that you can call your own and have your own stuff in there and not worry about it, that’s an ideal place for home for me,” Jones said.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
