For the first half of the season, the pass rush was probably the Ravens' biggest strength. With rush linebacker Terrell Suggs and strong-side linebacker Elvis Dumervil trying to beat each other to the quarterback, the Ravens were able to generate pressure with just a four-man rush, allowing them to drop more into coverage. But Suggs and Dumervil were quiet for the second half of the year, especially Suggs, who had just one sack in his final eight games. The Ravens had just three total in their final five games and just two in the last two as the New England Patriots and Cincinnati Bengals combined to score 75 points.
