Five for Friday: Minor leaguers who could impact the Orioles this season
The Orioles made 178 roster moves in 2012 and stitched 52 different names on the backs of jerseys during their improbable 93-win season. That's more shuffling than your typical blackjack dealer. We can probably expect Dan Duquette and Buck Showalter to shuffle the deck often this season, too, as they try to get the Orioles back to the playoffs. In this week's Five for Friday, blogger and reporter Matt Vensel picks five current Orioles minor-leaguers who could potentially have the biggest impact for the major league club this season.

1. Zach Britton, pitcher
With some instability in the back end of the Orioles rotation, Britton could be given a chance to start if Jake Arrieta or Chris Tillman were to be removed from the rotation. Britton lost the battle to be the team's fifth starter during spring training, but he could get back in the mix if he pitches well for Triple-A Norfolk. The 25-year-old has been a disappointment, but if he regains his 2011 form, he could make an impact.
