Fantasy football projections for the Ravens' offensive stars
Fantasy draft season is well underway, so this may be a touch late. But with the Ravens' starters taking the week off and not playing in the fourth preseason game against New Orleans, why not keep them in the spotlight? The fantasy football experts have crunched their numbers and come up with projections for the offensive outputs for the Ravens' stars this year. They don't paint a full picture of how the team should fare, but at this point in the preseason, what more could we ask for?

RB Ray Rice( Matthew Emmons, USA Today Sports / August 17, 2014 )
ESPN: 901 rushing yards, six touchdowns; 54 catches, 330 receiving yards, one receiving touchdown (No. 23 RB)
NFL.com: 786 rushing yards, six touchdowns; 369 receiving yards, one receiving touchdown (No. 26 RB)
Yahoo (via Pro Football Focus): 735 rushing yards, six touchdowns; 304 receiving yards, one touchdown (No. 32 RB)
Analysis: The impact of Rice's two-game suspension is seen here in his projections, but I think it has just as much to do with his poor output last season. Like Flacco, this seems like a bit of an undersell, but given the suspension and possibility that he could split time with Pierce again, it makes sense.
