Courtney Upshaw, outside linebacker

Upshaw, the team's top pick in 2012 (taken early in the second round), was a solid contributor as a rookie, starting nine games and helping the Ravens get through the early part of the season without rush linebacker Terrell Suggs. But despite starting 13 games at strong-side linebacker in 2013, Upshaw actually played 105 fewer defensive snaps and made 30 fewer tackles while showing little as a pass rusher. Life without Suggs looms sooner or later, so the Ravens really need Upshaw to meet expectations.
