Yesterday was all about recovering from the dissappointing United States game, but the Orioles at the very least took our minds off that sadness and won in a way it seems they're becoming more and more apt at. This is the Coffee Companion, where we recap the previous day's sports headlines.
- Chris Davis came off the bench for a three-run, walk-off home run Monday night in the Orioles’ 6-4 win over Chicago. It was a bomb. Caleb Joseph also homered, his second straight game with a deep ball, and Delmon Young started for the first time in a while and had three hits and some keen baserunning.
- Marshall Yanda is back to full strength this year.
- As always, check out our World Cup guide for all the information you need about today’s matches, and start thinking up your excuses for a sick day or very long lunch Thursday afternoon.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
