( The Baltimore Sun ) The nickname for the ex-Ravens nose tackle was inspired by "Buddy Lee," the action-hero spokes-doll in Lee Jeans commercials who bared a resemblance to Gregg. The nickname exemplified Gregg's blue-collar work ethic and it stuck. Brian Billick even used to call the entire Ravens defensive line "The Buddy Lee Group." |
