No makeup date has been announced.

The meet, scheduled to be run at the Prince George's County Sports and Learning Complex in Landover, was to be the first of two days of track championships scheduled for the venue. It was to begin at 11 a.m. because schools are closed for Presidents' Day.

The Class 3A and Class 4A finals are set for 4 p.m. Tuesday.

With a winter storm watch in effect for Western Maryland and a winter weather advisory issued for other areas of the state, some school systems canceled afterschool activities Monday before the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association postponed the track meet.

Baltimore and Howard county officials have announced the cancelation of all afterschool activities Monday.
