UMBC enjoys record-setting win against UMES, 102-65
UMBC set a Division I school record for points scored in a 102-65 rout of visiting UMES. The last time a Retrievers team scored at least 100 points was Nov. 29, 1985, in a 108-76 victory at Shippensburg. The Retrievers also set records for assists (28) and points in a half (59 in the second) while tying the 3-point mark (14). UMBC's Michelle Kurowski had 22 points and a career-high 14 rebounds to go along with a career-best seven assists. Teammate Meghan Colabella had 15 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks and three assists.
