46. Sam Cassell, basketball

His ungainly jump shot won many a game down the stretch for Dunbar -- and landed Cassell in the pros for 15 years. What he lacked in talent, the 6-foot-3 guard made up for with a tenacity that earned him three NBA titles, two of them when he first joined the league with the Houston Rockets (1994 and 1995). A first-round pick from Florida State, Cassell scored nearly 16,000 career points, a 15.7 average.
