Former WWE and WCW star Kevin Nash will be in Bowie on July 31 to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Baysox’s game against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at 7:05 p.m.
Nash, who will sign autographs and pose for pictures after the game, starting his pro wrestling career in 1990, gaining mainstream fame as Diesel for the World Wrestling Federation in the mid-1990s. He later jumped to WCW, where he was a founding member of the New World Order. More recently, Nash appeared in the film “Magic Mike,” playing a male stripper named Tarzan.
"Over the past few seasons, our Legends of Wrestling event has enabled fans to meet legends of the squared circle like Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart, Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler and Mick Foley,” Baysox assistant general manager Phil Wrye said in a news release “Kevin Nash is another great wrestler and we are excited to be able to bring him to Bowie this season.”Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
