The <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORSPT000188" title="Maryland Terrapins" href="/topic/sports/college-sports/maryland-terrapins-ORSPT000188.topic">Terrapins</a>' all-time leading scorer, he is the only player in the history of men's lacrosse at Maryland to twice earn <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORSPT00000248" title="Atlantic Coast Conference" href="/topic/sports/college-sports/atlantic-coast-conference-ORSPT00000248.topic">Atlantic Coast Conference</a> Player of the Year. A four-time All-American, Walters finished with 153 goals and 227 points, leading the Terps in scoring for an unprecedented four years. Named the country's top attackman in 2006, he was the first player picked in the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORSPT000486" title="Major League Lacrosse" href="/topic/sports/lacrosse/major-league-lacrosse-ORSPT000486.topic">Major League Lacrosse</a> draft.
