41. Dave Pietramala, lacrosse

The three-time first-team All-America defenseman helped Johns Hopkins to the NCAA championship in 1987 and, two years later, nearly did the same. With his team trailing 13-12 in the title game, Pietramala stripped Syracuse star Gary Gait of the ball with 25 seconds left, but Hopkins failed to score. A Hall of Famer, "Petro" was named college's top player in 1989 and is now the Blue Jays' coach. Baltimore Sun photo by David Hobby
