For most of a decade, Singleton (pictured) is among the steadiest of Orioles (182 home runs and a .284 batting average), a three-time All-Star and a mainstay on two pennant winners. Torrez plays one season for the Orioles, wins 20 games and is traded in one of the club's all-time worst deals. McNally, who'd won 20 or more games for four straight years here, pitches one-half season for the Expos and abruptly retires. Coggins quits baseball after the 1976 season.
