( Baltimore Sun photo by William Hotz / April 2, 2012 ) The eight-time Gold Glove winner patrolled center field for more than 12 years here, for some of the Orioles' best teams. Only Brooks Robinson has won more defensive accolades for the Birds. Blair also starred offensively in two World Series: his 430-foot home run won Game 3 against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the Orioles' sweep in 1966, and he hit a team-high .474 against the Cincinnati Reds in 1970. |
