Twice an All-American for the Terps, Shue set career scoring records in 1954 that stood for 20 years. A first-round <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="EVSPR000072" title="NBA Draft" href="/topic/sports/basketball/nba-draft-EVSPR000072.topic">NBA draft</a> pick, third overall, he played guard for a decade in the league, made the All-Star team five times and once scored 45 points against the dynastic Celtics at Boston Garden.
