A flawed, inconsistent police response to sexual assault in Maryland

Biggest signings in Maryland men's basketball history

The official signing of five-star prospect Diamond Stone starts one of the most highly anticipated buildups to a Maryland basketball career in decades. Coach Mark Turgeon wouldn't call the 6-foot-10, 250-pound center his most significant signing, though clearly Stone and Melo Trimble are right at the top.

Here is one writer's list of the 10 biggest signings in the history of the Terps' men's basketball program. Note that these 10 wouldn't all end up on a list of the best players in the history of the team, as this takes into account how heralded the players were at the time they agreed to play at Maryland. (Even if they never actually ended up playing for Maryland.)
