The race is on for Aberdeen, Huron and Mitchell.
Those are the sites for the Nov. 21-23 state tournaments as the South Dakota high school volleyball teams prepare for postseason play. The State A will be at Golden Eagles Arena on the campus of Aberdeen Central. The AA is at the Mitchell Corn Palace and the B at the Huron Arena.
Below is a look at district or regional tournaments in the area, along with game times and locations.
Of note, admission prices for all SDHSAA sponsored postseason events have changed to $7 for adults and $5 for students. Regular-season activity tickets or passes are not good for SDHSAA sponsored events.

Huron and Aberdeen Central duked it out in the regular season finale for the Eastern South Dakota Conference championship and the top seed in District 3. Huron came out ahead in that battle, but both teams earned first-round hosting rights against familiar foes.
Aberdeen Central will get Pierre in the opening round, a team the Golden Eagles beat twice in the regular season. Huron is headed for a re-match with Mitchell, which owns a 3-1 late-season win over the Tigers. Pierre and Mitchell finished the season tied at 9-11 overall and 39.15 in power rankings. Final seeding was determined by head-to-head results.
Tuesday: Huron vs. Mitchell at Huron, 7 p.m.; Aberdeen Central vs. Pierre at Golden Eagles Arena, 7 p.m.
Saturday: Championship, Huron/Mitchell winner vs. Aberdeen Central/Pierre winner at higher seed, TBA; Consolation, Huron/Mitchell loser vs. Aberdeen Central/Pierre loser at higher seed, TBA.
