Lentsch finished 27-of-55 from the field, including 15-of-33 from 3-point land. The 15 treys rank ninth best in all of NCAA. He was also 20of-22 from the free throw line. Presentation College will play Grinnell on Friday in Grinnell, Iowa.
¿ South Dakota State quarterback Austin Sumner is one of 20 players on the final ballot for the inaugural Jerry Rice Award as the top freshman in the Football Championship Subdivsion. The 6-foot-5, 230-pound redshirt freshman from Brandon started the final eight games for the Jackrabbits and set a Missouri Valley Football Conference freshman record with 2,382 passing yards among his many accolades. The Jerry Rice Award will be presented Jan. 6, 2012, in Frisco, Texas, on the eve of the FCS national championship game.
