The 24-year-old Clemens, who posted a 24-4 record last season, wants a good deal more than the $400,000 the Red Sox are offering. He made $315,000 in 1986.

2002 - Tracelynn Nedd tossed in 16 points and Julie Landmark added 15 to lead Presentation to a 64-48 women's college basketball win over National Christian in a game from the United States Collegiate Athletic Association tournament in Auburn, Maine.
2007 - Dustin Little notched 22 points and Jesse Becker as South Dakota beat Minnesota State, Mankato 97-86 in the North Central Conference men's basketball tournament championship game.
2011 - Erin Rabenberg scored 20 points to lead Mobridge-Pollock to a 57-44 win over Miller in the Region 6A high school girls' basketball championship and a berth in the state tournament. Cassidy Ulmer and Maddie Frederick added 11 and 10 points for Mobridge-Pollock (20-3).
