1991 - Lance Luitjens made 10 three-point field goals on the way to scoring 38 points as Custer won it's 32nd straight game by defeating Aberdeen Central 80-66. Central was led in scoring by Eric Kline, who tallied 23 points.
1996 - Zach Crockett, who took over running back duties after Marshall Faulk was injured, reeled off touchdown runs of 33 and 66 yards and finished with 147 total yards as the Indianapolis Colts defeated the AFC champion San Diego Chargers 35-20 in a National Football League playoff game.
2001 - Baltimore and Philadelphia each won their National Football League playoff games by identical 21-3 scores. The Ravens received two TD runs from Jamal Lewis in a win over the Denver Broncos, and Donovan McNabb threw a pair of TD passes and ran for another as the Eagles beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
2006 - Matt Campbell's goal in overtime lifted the Aberdeen Cougars to a 2-1 high school boys' hockey victory over the Huron All Stars. Justin Wren scored the first Aberdeen goal.
2010 - Clay Anderson tossed in 23 points to lead three players in double figures as Rosholt remained unbeaten with an 81-47 high school basketball victory over Warner. Landon Braun and Brian Maxwell added 15 and 10 points for Rosholt (6-0).
