1997 -- Josh Haug scored 44 points to lead Britton to a 102-92 City League basketball victory over Aberdeen Lock & Key.
2002 -- Bernie Williams cracked a three-run home run as part of New York's six-run fourth inning and Todd Greene homered twice and drove in six runs to lead the Yankees to an 11-5 exhibition baseball victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates.
2007 -- Paul Pierce scored 23 points to lead five Boston players in double figures as the Celtics earned a 95-87 National Basketball Association victory over the Toronto Raptors.
2011 -- Butler and UConn advanced to the Final Four in the NCAA men's basketball tournament. Shelvin Mack scored five of his 27 points during overtime to lift Butler to a 74-71 win over Florida, and Kemba Walker netted 20 points and Jeremy Lamb added 19 as the Huskies edged Arizona 65-63.
