The South Dakota State women's swimming and diving team nipped the University of South Dakota 122-121 last weekend in Vermillion.
SDSU senior Alexandra Hoffman of Eureka won two events to move her career win total to 50.
Her sister, USD junior Elizabeth Hoffman, won three events, including a thrilling victory in the 50 freestyle. Liz posted a winning time of 27.34 seconds, edging older sister Alex by just .39 seconds. Liz now has 55 career wins.
Fifty career wins is a big milestone in swimming.
Sportsman's Club meeting
The Brown County Sportsman's Club will have its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday in the community room of the Brown County Courthouse Annex.

Webster, West Fargo to be
at Wolf Invitational
The annual Aberdeen Central Lee Wolf Invitational Wrestling Tournament will start at 10 a.m. Saturday at Golden Eagles Arena.
The West Fargo Packers will be back to defend their title. Also, one of the best B schools will be at the tourney in Webster, which features five-time state champion Logan Storley. Other teams along with the Golden Eagles will be Aberdeen Roncalli, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte-Dupree, Gettysburg, Ipswich, Redfield-Doland, Milbank, Canton, Chamberlain, Dell Rapids, Huron, Watertown, Winner and Sioux Falls O'Gorman.
The other rounds will be at 12:30 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
O'Gorman vs. Roncalli
Aberdeen Roncalli will wrestle Sioux Falls O'Gorman at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the Roncalli school cafeteria. The dual has been resurrected, which was always held the night before the Lee Wolf tourney in Aberdeen.
Milbank girls' tournaments
The Northern Lights girls' basketball tournament will be March 26-27 at Milbank High School and Unity Square.
