June 24 - Longest ever tennis match ends

On June 24, American John Isner defeated France's Nicholas Mahut 70-68 in an 11 hour, and five minute tennis match, which spanned three days.  The Wimbledon match was the longest match in history.  Both players received an award for their efforts.
