RB Juwan Thompson did not practice Thursday after suffering a hip injury against the Chargers last Sunday. Thompson has battled a sore knee throughout the season, but has yet to miss a game.

QB Peyton Manning practiced on a limited basis Thursday because of a thigh injury. Manning left practice early to get more treatment on the injury.

TE Julius Thomas had a full practice workload Thursday. He has dealt with an ankle injury since Week 11 at St. Louis, and did not return until the game at San Diego.

WR Cody Latimer had a full practice of work Thursday after clearing the NFL's post-concussion protocol. He suffered the concussion in the days prior to the Broncos' Week 14 win over Buffalo.

LT Ryan Clady practiced on a limited basis Thursday. Clady missed the last three quarters of the win over San Diego after suffering a quadriceps injury.

LB Brandon Marshall said he did some work in the pool Thursday as he recovers from the mid-foot sprain suffered Sunday against San Diego. Marshall did not wear a walking boot in the locker room, and said he was able to ditch the boot Tuesday. The Broncos hope to have him back for the divisional round of the playoffs.

T DeMarcus Love was signed by the Broncos to their practice squad Thursday (Dec. 18). Love (6-4, 315 pounds) is a fourth-year player who has spent time on active rosters with Minnesota (2011-13) and Jacksonville (2013) in addition to competing on practice squads with the Giants and Saints this season.

TE Dominique Jones was signed by the Broncos Thursday (Dec. 18). Jones appeared in Denver's game against the Chargers on Sunday after spending 13 weeks on the club's practice squad, but was waived earlier in the week. He has played in 13 career games (three starts) with Indianapolis (2012-13), Kansas City (2013) and Denver (2014).

RB Ronnie Hillman saw limited work Thursday. Hillman has not played since suffering a mid-foot sprain at Oakland on Nov. 9.
