One Tree Hill goes Noir

It's like this, see? One Tree Hill's Chad Michael Murray channeled Casablanca and wrote an episode set in the glory days of the 1940s -- and it rocked! Yes, there were cheestastic moments, but oh, what a pleasure it was to watch. Haley the torch singer! Peyton the protected girl longing to be free! Nathan the bartender! Lucas the club owner! Mouth the gossip columnist! Skills the piano player! Brooke the femme fatale! Dan the eeeeeeeeeevil gangster type! Everyone threw themselves into their roles with gusto, making this one of the most enjoyable episodes of the series.
