Carson Kressley to Katy Perry: 'Could you just try Armani or something?'

Zap2It

Fashion consultant Carson Kressley stopped by "Whatever With Alexis & Jennifer" on Wednesday (Sept. 15) to dish Fashion Week and promote his charity benefits, Broadway Takes the Runway, with hosts Alexis Stewart and Jennifer Koppelman Hutt. But he was more than happy to talk celebrities as well.

After warning the world of the "dangers of pleats" and calling harem pants "not a good look," he brushed aside Lady Gaga's VMA meat dress to discuss the pop star he would most like to get his hands on: Katy Perry.

"Every time you see her ... she's so gorgeous and so talented, but she has some weird outfit on, like the Nurse Barbie or the fifties pinup girl or the naughty secretary," Carson says. "Could you just try Armani or something?"

"I think she's a natural beauty. Why not embrace it?"

Carson also fessed up that his three "It Girls" are Sarah Jessica Parker, Sienna Miller and Cate Blanchett.

Glad to see he's not ageist when it comes to It Girls.
