Continuing with the success of its solid ratings, the CW has ordered a third season of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?," network president Mark Pedowitz announced on Friday. The 24-episode cycle of the improvisational comedy show will air in 2015.
"Whose Line Is It Anyway?," adapted from the U.K. series of the same name, found cult success after its eight season run on ABC and ABC Family before ending in 2007. The show was picked up in 2013 by the CW with Aisha Tyler replacing host Drew Carey.
The show has regularly featured comedians Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie and Ryan Styles. On the CW, "Whose Line" has also regularly brought on guest stars to join in the improvisational skits, including "The Vampire Diaries'" Kat Graham, Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski and "Glee's" Darren Criss.
The new season has not yet been given a premiere date.
