LONDON -- James Murdoch, 21st Century Fox's co-chief operating officer, will be the opening keynote speaker at the 30th anniversary edition of TV mart Mipcom, the Cannes-set event announced Wednesday.
Murdoch, who is the first speaker to be revealed for Mipcom's Media Mastermind conference roster, will address delegates on Oct. 13.
Murdoch has direct responsibility for 21st Century Fox's television interests, which include the Fox Networks Group in the U.S., and the company's holdings in BSkyB, Sky Deutschland, Sky Italia and Star India.
Mipcom, which is organized by Reed Midem, will take place Oct. 13-16.
