With Prince William off the market and baby George years away from the crown, it looks like American women will do just about anything for a shot at romance with a royal -- even if it means not fact-checking the person's pedigree.

The trailer for Fox's new reality dating series "I Wanna Marry 'Harry'" (created by the "Joe Millionaire" team) shows how 12 American women were royally duped into thinking they could win a fairy tale wedding with Prince Harry, In fact, the "prince" is his equally red-headed lookalike Matthew Hicks.

From elaborate dates and luxury boat rides to the striking physical resemblance, Hicks must keep up the chivalrous charade until the truth is revealed. Judging by this clip of hopeful contestants competing for his affections, these ladies are in for a rude awakening.

"I Wanna Marry 'Harry'" premieres May 27 on Fox.
