The two-day affair, set to take place May 17-18 and staged by Omega Events, features three music stages and 24 performances. Allman, subject of the tragedy-plagued biopic "Midnight Rider," recently announced that this will be the last year for the Allman Brothers Band.
The Doheny Blues fest will represent his only SoCal appearance with the group. The event will also feature performances by Gov't Mule, Keb' Mo', Vintage Trouble, James Cotton, Ruthie Foster, Charles Bradley and the Extraordinaires, John Nemeth and the Bo-Keys, James Intveld and Rosie Flores, the Mannish Boys and Roy Gaines.
