Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill Reteam on Atlanta Olympics Drama

20th Century Fox has closed a deal to acquire the rights to the Vanity Fair article "The Ballad of Richard Jewell" with Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill attached to star.

DiCaprio will produce with Jennifer Davisson Killoran through his Appian Way banner. Hill will also produce, along with Kevin Misher who brought the article in.

The article follows a security guard who reported on the knapsack bomb at the 1996 summer Olympics and helped clear bystanders -- only to find himself vilified and suspected of being involved in the terrorism plot. Hill will play the journalist and DiCaprio will play the lawyer out to clear his name.

No writer or director are attached at this time.

DiCaprio and Hill currently star in "The Wolf of Wall Street." Both are repped by LBI Entertainment and Hill is repped by WME.

Deadline Hollywood was the first to report the news.
