Rebel Wilson Joins Amanda Seyfried in Universal's 'He's F-ing Perfect'

Rebel Wilson is set to join Amanda Seyfried in the Universal comedy "He's F-ing Perfect."

Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Kevin Messick are producing through their Gary Sanchez Productions banner along with Joe Drake and Nathan Kahane from Good Universe. Jake Szymanski is directing.

Story follows an Internet-savvy woman who convinces her friend to dump her new boyfriend so she can date him instead. Wilson will play Seyfried's friend.

Lauryn Kahn penned the script.

Universal acquired the project from Kahn out of turnaround at Fox 2000. The project was originally picked up by Fox 2000 in October 2011. SVP of production Erik Baiers and creative exec Chloe Yellin will oversee for the studio.

Uni and Wilson have built a strong relationship after strong supporting roles in "Bridesmaids" and "Pitch Perfect," which should hopefully lead to Wilson having more starring roles in the future.

Wilson has had a busy year with the ABC TV show "Super Fun Night" and Paramount's "Pain and Gain." She also recently signed on to "Night at the Museum 3."

She is repped by WME.
