A&E's reality slate has a new trick up its sleeve, as the cabler adds "Don't Trust Andrew Mayne" to its primetime lineup in January.
Unscripted program follows veteran illusionist Andrew Mayne as he helps people teach a lesson to those who have wrong them with street magic and large scale tricks. Mayne hopes to reinvent revenge by giving folks a taste of their own medicine, and often when they're least expecting it.
A&E ordered 13 halfhour episodes of "Don't Trust Andrew Mayne" and will bow the series Jan. 13 at 10 p.m.
Show is produced by Joke Prods., with Joke Fincioen and Biagio Messina exec producing. Mayne and Mary Jaras along with A&E's Drew Tappon and Brad Holcman also exec produce the series.
