South Floridian Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi finished third in the World Poker Tour World Championship in Las Vegas, earning $424,618.
The tournament is the climax to the WPT's season, and includes winners of the season's WPT events and others who pay the $25,000 entry fee.
Mizrachi, who has won two WPT events in his career, took the chip lead Saturday when his pair of 10s helds up against two opponents' ace-kings, but was eventually eliminated.
