How can people be so heartless?
A wheelchair-bound man had gone to an ATM at a Kissimmee gas station where he withdrew a wad of cash. Suddenly a man, Sonny Abreu, 24, who was identified by a witness who coincidentally knew both men, knocked the disabled man and his motorized wheelchair into the busy roadway and swiped his money, reports the Orlando Sentinel.
Good Samaritan motorists stopped to help the poor man, who had been holding his Chihuahua in a pet carrier on his lap. The dog suffered a broken leg in the fall, according to the report.
The man told authorities that because of the robbery, he had no bus fare. So he used his wheelchair to take the badly injured dog to a pet hospital nearly seven-miles away, according to the report.
