U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Weston, the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, has been on a book tour to promote "For the Next Generation: A Wake-Up Call to Solving our Nation's Problems."

That means a variety of interviews, including Comedy Central's mega-popular Daily Show and an upcoming appearance on Real Time with Bill Maher, the HBO show that liberals (presumably an audience of potential "Next Generation" buyers) love.

Above and below, clips her Tuesday night visit to the Daily Show night including the segment that appeared on the show and the extended online interview.

She'll be on Real Time on Friday at 10 p.m., followed by numerous repeats.

Other guests on Friday's program: astrophysicist Neil deGrasee Tyson, the ultraconservative commentator Ann Coulter, actor Rob Lowe and director Rob Reiner. Reiner was also a guest when Wasserman Schultz appeard on the show in January 2012.

Now, back to the Comedy Central clips ...

Here's the segment from Real Time's "Overtime" from the Wasserman Schultz's 2012 appearance.
