The events of the past 8 days are on the short list of worst Dolphins finishes ever

With the playoffs within the team's grasp entering the final two games against teams that were perceived as inferior AFC East opponents, the Dolphins put together two of the season's worst performances, getting out scored 39-7 in the last two weeks. First they got shutout by the Buffalo Bills, and then a complete collapse against the Jets in the season's finale. With the loss the Dolphins (8-8) are now 2-4 in AFC East games this season.
