To order, select your bread (white or whole-wheat pita; wheat or tomato-basil wrap), then choose a filling. There's falafel, hummus, spicy hummus, eggplant or veggie ($3.95 each). For a buck more, choose grilled chicken, chicken salad, tuna salad, egg salad or gyro.

Our pick is the whole-wheat pita with a huge scoop of white meat tuna salad held together with just the right amount of mayo. It comes with shredded iceberg lettuce ($4.95).

Now head for the "stuff it yourself" bar. The restaurant's motto is "It's okay to stuff yourself." And they're not kidding.

At the serve-yourself-bar, you can fill your sandwich with an impressive array of dressings and toppings that are neatly chopped, sliced and diced. It's all colorful and fresh.

We add the Mediterranean salad that's diced tomatoes and onions in lemon juice. We also choose chopped black olives, dill pickles, cucumbers, red onions and juicy tomatoes. A few bright yellow banana peppers and sprinkles of crumbled feta cheese, and we're almost done. A drizzling of balsamic vinaigrette adds a final tangy touch.

Other items at the bar include corn, cabbage salad, coleslaw, couscous, carrots, white onions, jalapenos, bacon and pepperoncini. There's also Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses. Dressings include tzatziki, tahini, Caesar, ranch, lite Italian, honey mustard and blue cheese.

Other options are salad boxes with lettuce that can be garnished with the your choice of toppings from the bar ($4.95) and sides such as fries ($2.95) and soup of the day ($2.45). — Beth Feinstein-Bartl
