The Miami Hurricanes are putting together quite an offensive line from the class of 2014.
A week after five-star OL Kc McDermott pledged to Miami, Catholic (St. Petersburg) four-star OL Reilly Gibbons has decided to join the Hurricanes as well.
Gibbons is the fourth lineman to commit to Miami from the class of 2014, following McDermott, Miami Central's Trevor Darling and St. Thomas Aquinas' Nick Linder.
Gibbons eschewed offers from Arkansas' Randy Shannon, Florida's Tim Davis, and Florida State's Lawrence Dawsey. Art Kehoe is credited with earning Gibbons' commitment.
Before Gibbons committed to Miami, the Hurricanes had the No. 9-ranked class of 2014, nationally, according to the 247sports composite rating of the major scouting services. That ranking is expected to go up after Monday's news.
